Dr. Sayalee Patil

Dr. Sayalee Patil is a fine product of prestigious LTMC popularly known as Sion hospital. Patient care is in her blood. Patient first is her motto. Her work is tremendously appreciated by her patients and society. Apart from day to day deliveries and c. sections she is having special interest in laparoscopy and she is constantly achieving excellence at par with the experts. She is having special interest in fertility preserving surgeries and she has mastered herself in it. She takes constant efforts to do follow up of these patients and see to it that they get conceived soon. She has hands on experience in IVF and ICSI, which she has got while working with the seniors and experts in the field..
She has completed her MBBS, MS (Obst & gynaecology) DGO, FCPS from prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Memorial medical Collage, Sion Mumbai. She was always topper in her academics with plenty of awards and prizes during her collage days. After completing her post graduation she has gained experience in assisted reproduction and endoscopy while working with Dr. Amit Pakti and Dr. Neeta Warty at Regenesis IVF centre, Mumbai. She was Student friendly teacher at K.J. Somaiya Medical College & Research Centre, Mumbai. She was working in K.J. Somaiya Medical College & Research Centre, Mumbai as an assistant professor. She extends her services to the community by working as a visiting consultant gynaecologist at Hiramongi Navneet Hospital, Walji Laddha Road ,Mulund west
She has won following prizes for different publications and presentations at National level:
- Second prize for Poster on Intraumbilical oxytocin injection at (MOGS 2008).
- First prize (L.M. Shah prize) for paper on “ Stepwise Uterine Devascularisation”(MOGS 2009).
- First prize (Dr.H. Desa) for paper on “Intraumbilical uterotonics- A novel approach in active management of third stage of labour.” (MOGS 2009).
- First prize (Dr Shirin Mehtaji award ) for presentation‘Placental Laterality on USG as predictor of PIH’ (MOGS 2009).
- Dr. N.K. Allahbadia Research award at MOGS 2010 for the paper- ‘Efficacy of uterine artery Doppler at 18 – 20 wks gestation in predicting the development of gestational hypertension.’
She has following publications on her name:
- Testicular feminization: A case report in Bombay Hospital Journal; Vol. 52,No 1 ,2010.
- Dissertation on ‘Comparison of Misoprostol with other uterotonics in active management of 3rd stage of labour.'
- Dissertation on ‘Umbilical cord coiling index and its effect on the perinatal outcome.'
- She has special interest in Gynaec Endoscopy, Infertility management and Surrogacy, High Risk Obstetrics.
- She has improved her skills by attending Ethiskills course organized by Ethicon Institute of Surgical education in 2008.
- She has completed Non Scalpel Vasectomy training organized in F north ward office in 2009 under Dr.Advani and advanced laparoscopy training at CEMAST in Dec 2015.
